WHAT TO EXPECT

Your First Step: The 1:1 INTRO Session

Before joining our small group classes, every new student starts with a private, 50-minute orientation. This ensures you feel confident, safe, and ready to move.


  • Personal Movement Assessment: We’ll discuss your fitness goals, any past injuries, and how your body moves today.


  • Meet the Equipment: Get hands-on experience with the Reformer, Tower, and Chair in a private, low-pressure setting.


  • Foundational Basics: Learn the core principles of Pilates—breathing, alignment, and "finding your center."


  • Your Custom Roadmap: At the end of the session, your instructor will recommend the best classes or memberships to help you reach your goals.

Every new member starts with a private 1-1 session  (The INTRO) so we can learn your body’s unique needs before you join a group.


We skip the crowded 'drop-in' culture to focus on a consistent, small-group experience-ensuring our classes flow and remain intimate, safe, and high-energy. 


By requiring an INTRO for all new clients, we guarantee that every person in the room is moving with proper form and confidence. It’s how we keep our classes focused, effective, and tailored to you.

You can call me "Gen"!  I believe movement should make you feel alive, not exhausted. With 27 years of experience as a certified instructor, I founded Inner Balance Pilates in 2002 to bring a smarter, more intuitive approach to fitness to Erie. By focusing on small classes and individualized attention, I make sure every student—regardless of age or ability—finds their own path to a stronger, more balanced life. 


My philosophy is simple: Everyone deserves to feel good in their own body.
